Gouvia is situated on the east coast of Corfu, within very close proximity to Corfu Town. Being set in the middle of the Island, this location is ideal as a starting point to explore the island by means of a car or a bike.
Gouvia used to be a small fishing village, but has evolved throughout the last four decades into a summer holiday resort. Ideal for couples and families who are visiting the island of Corfu, it provides an up to date and secure place for vacation and offers a variety of restaurants, tavernas and bars. The village has about 600 inhabitants and was built on the site of an ancient Venetian harbor. Today, Gouvia features the beautiful marina of Corfu and welcomes many yachts from all over Europe.
