Benitses

The picturesque fishing village of Benitses lies 19 km south of Gouvia and is strategically located in the middle of the southern part of the island and Corfu Town.

Benitses used to be a very popular resort during the 80s where tourists as well as the local people would visit nightclubs and bars.

During the last few years, the village has become more of a cosmopolitan spot and the addition of the private marina has enhanced the local area, without abandoning its charming character and traditional atmosphere.
